SnowAlarm retrieves data from ski area and/or trade group web pages within minutes of their posting to the web. Although this often allows a very early snow report, SnowAlarm cannot be held liable for errors in these published pages. In many cases, these errors are subsequently corrected, but not before an alarm might be triggered. I would encourage you to seek corroboration if the numbers appear incorrect.

Your wireless provider may charge for each SnowAlarm sent to your cell phone. Please contact them for more information regarding the ability to receive text messages on your phone as well as the cost.

Hazards include being notified at times you did not expect, being notified for snowfalls under your criteria and not being notified! They also include hidden natural and man-made obstacles such as downed trees, rock outcrops and snowmaking equipment.
